This Knabe Ampico type A grand piano was built in 1927 in America. One of the last grand pianos with the Ampico A system. The instrument was presumably bought new by the owner of a well-known chocolate factory in England.
Special features of this player piano is the original 220 volt motor. In the US, 110 volts are used.
The grand piano has a burr walnut case and unusual art-case legs.
New strings in 2008.
